Our mental health is in constant battle with cultural, environmental, financial, and social factors that impacts us emotionally, mentally, and physically. This impact layers up over time and is not only exhausting and often overwhelming, but can damage our self-esteem, impact our relationships, cause us to lose connection with ourselves, and lead to increased anxiety and depression. It takes courage to come to therapy! It's awkward at times, and can be overwhelming to think about opening up and sharing your deepest hurts or fears with a stranger. Beyond talk therapy, and beyond the processing, however, we also believe in teaching clients tools and strategies they can actually use in their daily lives.
